What’s that buzzing? Bees!

We are enjoying beautiful weather here in Fallbrook, in the 70s and 80s. 

The trees had not yet finished shedding their fall leaves when they burst into bloom and the scent is drawing bees by the hundreds to the two fruitless pear trees out by my back deck.

The air is perfumed by plumeria and orange blossoms. Yes, this is pretty normal for January, February and March but that doesn’t make it any less special.

Lying in the hammock while listening to buzzing bees — in January! — well, you have to be here to really appreciate how absolutely wonderful it is!
